Powerscourt - Ireland

oblivious

I miss Ireland and its magic.

Rough week for a lot of people. Whether its me with my results, or my friends with boy problems. Frustrations, tears and maybe blood.

I drove the furthest I have ever driven today. To Hartamas, from the Curve and back. I guess my sister only allows me to drive in the wee hours of the night when there's barely any cars on the road. It felt good speeding a little on the highway without her asking me to pull over and kick me out of the car.

I am grateful for all the people who have had/has faith in me, who actually believe I'm destined for big things, or that I shall achieve my goals. Especially when personally everything is just bleak, foggy and distant for me to taste.

I am starting to miss my parents. A lot. Sigh, getting all teary just typing that out.

I cried a bucket during Subuh prayer. In fact , I havent slept yet since yesterday and its 7am already. I look positively panda with these puffy eyes. Just as the tears subsided, it began to rain. The steady pulse of raindrops gently rushing down my window was powerfully calming, rejuvinating. It was a beautiful closure to my gloom and peaceful start to a new dawn.
